We're All Going To Die

greg@wgr550.com

What's the point of even blogging.
I watched another show on 'National Geographic' last night that outlined what's going to happen to the Earth if the planet's temperature continues to rise.

Basically, if the global temperature goes up 2 degrees, Australia is going to burn....the Western part of the United States will become a complete desert and sled-dogs will be out of work. (Yes, they mentioned out of work sled-dogs).

I think I have to stop watching these nature shows. I just like how Lava and Coral Reefs look on TV. Should I be constantly punished with stories about the high mathematic probability of an asteroid crashing into the planet or a quick-spreading species of sea-plant that fish won't eat threatening our very existence? Can't they just show me panthers?

It's hard to be motivated when the show I'm watching tells that scientists predict the end of life in 40 years. Why do I have a bank account? Why am I using fat-free salad dressing? Why do I keep flipping my mattress?

And what the hell happened to the Rain Forest? 5 years ago, all you heard was that we were going to have to hold our breath indefinitely because the Rain Forest was dissapearing. Now, it's the Ice Caps. The Ice Caps are melting and the ocean is going to overflow and kill us all. Kangaroos are on fire because you drive a Expedition.

Well, I'm gonna keep killing bees and mosquito's...even though I'm told that they're vital to our food chain. Who the hell has even eaten a mosquito? No one.
Sometimes science is wrong.
