Tiger to sit out AT&T National

Tiger Woods announced Wednesday that he will sit out the AT&T National next week at the Aronimink Golf Club outside of Philadelphia. Following doctors orders, Woods will continue resting his injured left leg. He will be in attendance at Aronimink to support the tournament which benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Woods injured his leg during the the third round of the The Masters and last competed in the The Players Championship, but had to bow out after just nine holes because of the injury.

After sitting out the U.S. Open last week at Congressional, the next major on the schedule is The British Open at the Royal St. George's club in England which starts on July 14th. He did not mention his plans on when he would be returning to the tour.
