The Buffalo Bills and wide receiver Stevie Johnson is the number one topic of conversation for the majority of fans in western New York this off-season.
As it turns out, things are starting to heat up.
According to a source, the two sides have exchanged contract proposals over the course of the past week. The Bills had sent a contract proposal Johnson's way over a week ago and that was countered by Johnson's agent, C.J. Laboy of Octagon Sports, earlier this week. There has been no clarification as to figures at this point in time, or how far apart the two separate offers were.
The source confirmed that Johnson's agent and the Bills will continue to speak in Indianapolis during the NFL Scouting Combine. That event takes place starting Wednesday of next week.
WGR Sports Radio 550 will be at the NFL Combine for the fourth straight yet, be sure to be on the lookout for any and all progress in the Stevie Johnson talks, and interviews with Buddy Nix, Chan Gailey and much more!

Just sign the flippin' deal!!
I can tell you right now, without knowing the numbers, it's alot of money! Hey Stevie, want more cash?? Just catch the darn ball and score more touchdowns and the incentives will take care of themselves!

progress?
Only progress is Stevie progressing his way to the door. Ralph is an old man with no clue what is going on around him, time for him to just shuffle off to Toronto or LA.

Re: corky
Don't ever write cool beans again, got it? If you do I will dislike your comment so much! Also I don't get the doritos thing but it's weird. Try revising your statement an writing something else. Or just leave it at "hope they sign him" go Sabres, Bandits, Bisons, Bills, Semi-pro basketball team, UB, Buff State, Canisius, ECC, Niagara, St Bonaventure, Medaille, Daeman, NCCC and any other local sporting programs.

Good News
Considering that he's the only player in Bills history with back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons it was impartive to begin the process early. He is good and I don't care about his antics. If he does more good than harm, for this team, thats good enough for me.

I would froth at the mouth
If they signed him, then got Vincent Jackson or Marques Colston. Get those two players in, then build the defense in the draft. Easily makes them a 10-6 team minimum. We wen't 1-5 in the division this year. If our defense improves to 15th, our offense probably climbs into the top 10. That probably equates to 4-2 in the division. Next year we play easier teams, and honestly.... our playoff droubt would end. We learned how to win beginning this year, next year we learn to keep winning.

Well alright now
This is looking good. Now get Mario Willams in free agentcy and a LT in the 1st roung of the draft and there you have it TRIXS are for kids. Who LIKES BOSTON BAKED BEANS?
02/16/2012 2:35PM
What Happend
I like to state the most commen question anybody can make. Are you a playoff team with Stevie Johnson? and do we draft another WR or get a free agent that can play WR? Do we look at Mario Willams so that would give us a chance to draft a Left Takle on this years draft? There are lots of holes and qustions for this team. Are they going to break our hearts again or could we finally start trusting them again. PS Doritos are the bomb. Boston Baked Beans are great and who doesnt like Borat?

Good
Bills, get this done! (Cool Beans!)
02/16/2012 6:32PM
who cares
We suck and will always suck. The only thing we have to look forward to is finding the next guy that has been in the league for awhile that is avg and we are going to try and make a star.

How much???
No matter how much they offered, it's too much... "ya know wha' I'm sayin?" Let him go, and get a receiver that's more that 3 apples high! By the way, after tonights performance by the Sabres, there is no longer a need for Cindy and Marcy, and a bunch of those "players." So when lackey Jeremy tries to explain this one away, and when Mr. Perfect, errr Schoop, asks for THAT game when you realized they were done... THIS was the one!!
