Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) -- Craig Rivet practiced today on a limited, no contact basis. He said his upper body injury is a little better, but he's still sore. He has not ruled out playing.
Toni Lydman skated on his own, but Lindy Ruff said it did not go well. Ruff said they will call-up a defenseman from Portland, but it may not be Mike Weber who has "Medical issues."
Derek Roy and Andrew Peters returned to practice. Peters told me his abdomin feels fine and he's ready to play tomorrow if called upon.
Ruff said Pat Kaleta is better, but his neck is still very sore and he's in a brace. He will not make the road trip.
Tim Connolly is riding the bike and back do off ice workouts. Ruff didn't think he'd skate this week.
