Really, it's gonna happen. Players are going to stop hitting. Unless of course you're a darling in the eyes of Colon Campbell, then you'll get the benefit of the doubt. The game already is boring for 3/4 of all regular season games. They are killing this game.

new rule
if a player pushes a player into the boards or anything, where they are hurt. hurting player gets suspended for as many games as injured player.

God forbid
they ever take out the instigator rule..hate to say it, but mike robitaille was right. They never used to worry about head shots because if anyone even thought about throwing an elbow to the face of bobby clarke, theyd get their scalp ripped out. Bottom line that's the only way to protect the players
