Bills Prepare For Washington With Another Primetime Workout
WGR Newsroom -- The Buffalo Bills worked out under the lights on Thursday for the second time this week. It was the final practice in front of the public before Saturday's preseason opener at Washington. Dick Jauron announced that S Donte Whitner, LB Angelo Crowell, WR Josh Reed, and TE Tim Massaquoi will not play against the Redskins. Whitner and Massaquoi sat out Thursday's practice as did Crowell, along with WR Scott Mayle. Reed stayed indoors during the nighttime workout with a sore lower back.
Jauron was optimistic that J.P. Losman would be okay to play on Saturday despite a thumb injury. Losman would back up Trent Edwards, who is expected to get 10-20 snaps against the Redskins. The Bills' head coach also noted that Langston Walker will get the start at LT as Jason Peters continues his holdout.
