Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee may be sticking around in western New York a bit longer.
The oft-injured cornerback and the Bills agreed to a restructured contract that will give the Bills some breathing room if McGee isn't healthy. He was originally set to make $3.6 million in 2012, $4.6 million in 2013.
According to a source, the restructured deal gives the Bills some security in case McGee is not healthy, but also allows McGee to earn all of the original money if he's healthy and playing. The source also said the two years remaining on the contract does not change with the restructured deal.
Since signing a five-year contract in September of 2009, McGee has played in a total of just 26 games out of a possible 48. The Bills addressed cornerback in last year's off-season, re-signing Drayton Florence and drafting Aaron Williams out of Texas in the second round.
McGee has spent his entire career with the Bills, and has 17 interceptions for the organization since being drafted in 2003.

Bills, McGee Restructure Contract
huh?? You got to be kidding me. This guy hasn't been the same since he signed his last contract. He can't cover no more, bad tackler, he doesn't seem motivated, and his speed is gone. It's a given he will be injured again. Why even waste your time trying to get this guy to play. He had to take the Bills offer or risk being out of football. Like many fine athletes, after they get the big contract they either go on IR or their play goes down hill. With him, it's both.

return man
He was valuable as a kick returner. As a corner he has been so so at best. If he isn't running back kicks I see no use for him.
